Have chucked a HM veggie lasagne from the freezer into the oven, bit annoyed with myself, if I'd have planned better i could've got it out to defrost earlier.

I usually cook my homemade freezer meals from frozen too. I usually pop into an oven dish and cover with foil for around half an hour to heat through without burning the top.

last night I had an all day breakfast for tea. Tonight I have had steak and kidney pie with some cauliflower mash. Strawberries and cream for pudding.

A selection of those £1 party food starters, mozzarella sticks for instance. And pizza. Will share a pepperoni and a cheese one. They were both reduced from £1 to 69p so all in all a cheap and cheerful dinner.

Had Ottolenghi's celeriac shawarma with pittas, little gem, radishes, spinach bhikeli, crispy shallots, fermented tomato sauce and yoghurt, ginger and lime dressing as a treat and am absolutely stuffed, pudding will have to be postponed.

we had fajitas but put some broccoli spears in, which made it a bit soggy - tasty, but more of a stir-fry
