i never look in the freezer section in M&S for some reason, will have to remedy that.
happydenial I'd eat mushroom and spinach kievs although OH is a veggie who is not keen on mushrooms (taste and texture put him off). On the other hand I'll eat them in spades quite happily.
My dinner tonight was beef casserole with sliced potatoes on top as planned to make it a hot pot. Not the best casserole I've ever made (ended up a bit stodgy) so won't be sorry to see the back of it, think there's one portion in the freezer.
Eggy bread and fried mushrooms for brekkie to use up a lingering slice of bread and some sliced mushrooms from a 20p punnet bought in Lidl. Soaked the bread in the egg overnight to make sure it really sucked up the egg.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

It's no problem at all, kerri_gt but they may have been a Christmas thing, I bought 2 boxes of these and a box of vegan pigs in blankets. Haven't triedthe pigs in blankets yet.
Tonight we had spicy bean burgers, husband had beef burgers. With sweet potato wedges, home made coleslaw, corn on the cobs and a tray of burger toppings, including gherkin, lettuce tomato, cheese, onion, and a relish.

Cauliflower and kale curry tonight, I think. We had our naughty 'takeaway' style meal last night - HM deep fried chips and Tesco vegan nuggets with beans, so tonight curry and brown rice.3

Due to all the Kiev talk, last night DH and I ended up having the mushroom and spinach ones, kids had breaded chicken fillets, we all had chips and peas/sweetcorn.
Tonight will be the sausage casserole with rice and veg, although will do eldest a piece of salmon as he doesn’t like sausages (annoyingly he will eat the cheap, full of rubbish ones they have at school, but I refuse to buy those 🙄).Books read 2023 - 49/754 -
