Delicious looking photos @Florenceem especially the pies, very impressed by your pastry expertise.

Very cold here with a dusting of snow this morning too so my hands are extra painful. Managed to make a Marks ready prepared stir fry veg for dinner and ate it with rice and then had y/s mango pieces for pud. I used garlic infused olive oil for the veggies and it gives them quite a lift so I'll be doing that again another day.

We  treat the inlaws to fish and chips every couple if weeks, however they have to eat at 5pm. On the dot.  Husband really fancied some himself tonight, but I phoned through the order for his parents and when he went to collect it, it seemed that a couple of the workers had phoned in poorly, leaving the shop short staffed and busy, even though we had ordered he still had a 15 minute wait. So he didnt fancy another trip at 6.30 to fetch ours.
So I made some home made fish and chips in the oven.  Different but tasty and I even made posh mushy peas using frozen garden peas. Perhaps we can have a takeaway tomorrow.

We ordered in last night from a Caribbean / Jamaican take away. We both had curry goat (first time) with rice and peas. It was very nice will certainly order from there again.
I also ordered an extra veggie chickpea curry last night and we shared this for lunch.
Dinner was oven fish and chips with beans for OH and I had udon noodles with tinned mackerel (after a nabbing a cheeky little bit of OH's fish and chips )
