Last night we had leftover chicken curry from Christmas Eve - when I defrosted it, saw that it was more curry sauce than chicken, so added a can of chickpeas. Had it with turmeric rice and leftover new potatoes which I turned into HFW’s curried potatoes with spinach. Fridge looking decidedly bare, haven’t been shopping since before Christmas!Books read 2023 - 49/754

Pizza tonight topped with spinach and ricotta, i had some LO prawn salad with mine. Busy clearing out of fridge of things that need using and evicting things that will not get used or are past using. Not much but a few bits like some furry sage which went in the compost and some LO roasties which will get cut up and out for the birds. Plus some half opened pots of cream of various sorts.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Bacon Sandwich with some scrambled eggs for me and a freezer pizza for DH.
Asda delivery came with a large chicken instead of small and two 150gm packs of prawns rather than one 210gm... All at the lower prices.... Good thing really, DsS is going to be with us from Wednesday rather than Friday this week, 14 but effectively another adult mouth to feed.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Last night we had wholewheat spaghetti, HM fresh tomato sauce, griddled courgette, broccoli and garlic bread. Tonight I've prepped this thai squash and pineapple curry. I've made it before and really liked it, hopefully it goes down OK with our 13 year old. It's a bit spicy so I might have to whip something else up for the baby.3
