I've got a beef rendang simmering away in the slow cooker, and my it smells good :) It is mostly this recipe, but I marinaded the cubes of beef for 24 hours beforehand in lemongrass, ginger, garlic and chilli.  I've made a white chocolate cheesecake for this week's puddens.

Yesterday I had my first ever Five Guys. Really nice. And didn't need dinner in the evening.
Tonight, noodle soup where I shoved in lots of veg, chicken and some seafood mix.

Husband is pre-heating oven, to roast a big pheasant tonight.
Yum - apart from a pair of breasts, we’re out of pheasant, not long now before the game refill👍

Now I’m craving wild mushroom risotto with thyme pheasant breasts, and I’m s’posed to be low carbing🤣 took all my strength to avoid crispy batter and chips, had fish and salads 🥴
I low carb too. The pheasant had dried rosemary, thyme and sage mixed in goose fat, with leftover bacon from weekend on top.
