Picnic tea tonight. Nice bread with some cold meats/ little bit of quiche/few wedges/ couple of chicken wings/ and i've cooked 2 spicy chicken fillets to cut into bite size pieces too. Quite a random choice of dinner maybe now I've looked outside at the weather and it's raining..still, makes a change I suppose. :)

Supper tonight will be gluten-free white pudding and gluten-free haggis, with fried duck eggs and.. not sure on veg. Riverford just turned up, Waitrose tonight. Choice of fresh peas, broad beans, frozen petits pois, baby turnips, HM celeriac and fennel mash, baby leeks, mushrooms, carrots.. maybe gluten-free organic low carb gravy too. Whatever needs using first.

    10 days off work 🥳

treated myself to scrambled egg, Grilled bacon and mushrooms For breakfast, can’t think I’ll want much for lunch, but have some olives, nuts etc to snack on if needed.

dinner will be at DH’s whim, I don’t cook on Friday 👍

There is half a quiche left from last night. An option for my lunch.

I had a small steak with leftover peas n new pots for lunch. For dinner I had chicken and veg broth made from a chicken carcass (cooked 2 days ago), carrots and a leek about to be thrown out, an onion, 2 sticks of celery and a 500g bag of Asda broth mix (80p).

DH is off fishing later, so fingers crossed for Bass or Mackerel for the BBQ, if not it’s whatever I can cobble together for the fridge
