I made a root mash with bottom of the fridge carrots, sweet potatoes, swede, parsnips, potatoes and celeriac.
Served it with broccoli, peas and mange toute, gravy, roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding. I had nut roast others had roast pork.
Loads of root mash left, so it's gone in the freezer.

Lasagne made last night for dinner. Garlic bread to go with it and coleslaw. Not sure about lunch yet. Probably a sandwich of some description I have some nice tiger bread but it is quite thick. Once the lasagne is done it is pork steaks and trimmings later in the week then maybe a sausage casserole.

I’ll be using up some of yesterday’s leftover roast pork to make barbecue pulled pork baps with salad and coleslaw tonight.

I had some slightly dry croissants to use up so I have just used them, together with a tin of apricot halves, to make a fruity bread and butter pudding.
  • Dinner tonight is left overs from our Sunday roast with some veg.
