Tonight I am making pan fried cod in a lemon and cajun spiced butter, served with chargrilled homegrown courgettes.
I've picked some gooseberries and redcurrants from the garden too, and will cook those down with some elderflower cordial and a little sugar and then turn it into a strudelly-type thing for pud. Never tried it before, but I don't want to waste the fruit! Should be okay with custard.4 -

I roasted a load of vegetables a bit of a staple in this house, onions, courgettes, peppers, aubergines, mushrooms, olives and tomatoes that were past eating uncooked. Whilst that was roasting I made a pizza dough.
I used a shop bought fresh pasta sauce and mozzarella and made the best pizzas that I have ever made.
The remaining pasta sauce went into the remaining veg to make Ratatouille and was frozen.
Thanks to the photo of the pizza, by frith a few posts back, it inspired me.5
