Was decorating (or rather sanding) after our evening walk, getting petrol and wine at Lidl (stocking up for the weekend - am classing it under essential for sanity atm) The notion of sanding a ceiling was much more fun in theory vs practice 🤦♀️ expect I'll have dust settling for weeks still.
Anyway, following that, dinner was a cheese sandwich with a slice of date and walnut loaf at 10pm, lunch didn't really happen at all bar a handful of sweets.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

scrambled eggs on toast for lunch today and supper will be something vegetarian as I have broccoli, cabbage and carrots to use up so perhaps a stir fry or the like It has morphed itself into a Mediterranean flavoured vegetable stew with red wine, mushrooms and many veg mixed in, lashings of basil and oregano and a goodly slug of garlic. Should be tasty!4

HM potato salad for lunch (using the last of the sour cream) with lots of chives as dropped the pot as pouring, with other salady bits. Marmite on toast for breakfast
tonight mince, maybe mince and tatties and cheesy leeks or a shepherds pie
No takeaways had since February, its giving me the fear – don’t like the idea of someone else preparing my food with the current covid situ
I go to the supermarket once a week and that’s it, for me and the parents, so I have to make last what I have but its working well so far

We had chilli from the freezer. I made it posh by serving it in tortilla bowls.
Just used a wrap baked in oven over a small pyrex dish.
We had avocados and sour cream with it.7 -
Finally got around to adding the peas and carrots to the lamb mince mix i cooked the other day. Had one portion topped with sliced cooked jersey royals and heated in the oven.
Other two portions have gone in the freezer 'naked' they can be had just as they are with yorkshires or roast spuds, or topped with something when i come to use them.
Aside from a joint of beef, thats the only non cooked meat that was left in the freezer. Think i have some diced turkey from Xmas i must whizz into something soon.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
