I got a new blender, juicer gadget that came with various contraptions for chopping etc. Going to whizz up some chickpeas and have that on toast for lunch, mainly because I want an excuse to use it!
For dinner we are going to fry up steak and onions in gravy and have that with rice. It's probably goes better with potatoes, but we like it with rice too / instead.3 -
We’ve just we’ve just had a sausage sandwich each for lunch, and will finish up last night’s shepherd’s pie for supper tonight. I’ve made a sherry trifle for puds this week as it’s Mister CJ’s favourite, and it’s nice (and so important) to have an occasional treat!5

Last portion of the vege haggis mix up type thing i made, can't say I'm sorry to see the back of that. Had it with some Yorkshire's, a bit of mash with spring onion chopped in and some gravy.
Got 2 chicken carcasses out of the freezer to make stock too.
Oh and found out the portion of sausage casserole i thought i had left is actually some kind of vegetable ragu type thing.

I used the remaining leftover roasted veg from Sunday, mixed with a jar of pasta sauce and two packs of filled gnocchi. Topped with cheese and baked. I'm not sure if it was one of the packs of gnocchi or something else but some of the gnocchi was lovely and soft but some were very hard.
Dont think I will buy the filled gnocchi again.

I made carrot, parsnip and coriander soup in vast quantities yesterday to use up 'bottom of the fridge veg' so that's lunches with various bits for the rest of the week, today there are the last two portions of quiche I made to use up so that will be lunch and I've defrosted a couple of sausages for supper, have bacon to use, mushrooms, eggs and baked beans so supper is breakfast!6
