Yesturday I was so organised (out of the blue for me) and had the slowcooker on
Today not organised, look like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards, so itll be sausage and egg this eveWith love, POSR3 -
Arrived home from work an hour late this evening, to find DH in the kitchen organising dinner (it doesn't happen more than once every week or two, so always a welcome treat for me). We had a veggie frittata, fusilli pasta and he'd made a sauce using the end of a bottle of passata from the fridge, onions, garlic and mushrooms. Homemade hummus on the side - I make a couple of jam jars full at a time as we get through a lot of this.Avoiding plastic, palm oil, UPF and Nestlé4

Well we had a change of plan yesterday as HWK leafed through the cookery book and found a Moroccan Lentil Stew recipe he liked the look of which I happened to have all the ingredients in to make so I did. Oh my goodness it is quite one of the most delicious things we've eaten for ages! have enough left over to have again for supper tonight and I'll do some jacket potatoes and a salad to go with it. I shall make more of the recipes from this particular book which was a 20p charity shop find, Mmmmmm delicious!4

I’ve got two small portions of the Yassa chicken in the freezer, from earlier this week. I’m going to zhuzh it up with some extra chilli (it wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked) and a little bit of cream, and it will be served with some fried diced courgette, mushroom and garlic plus a bit of rice.4

Bad Nanny... We've just had pizza and garlic bread delivered. I've managed to explain to my local pizza shop that I avoid plastic, and they're really good about delivering everything in only cardboard and paper. Well, that's my excuse. I did already have homemade hummus in the fridge to go with it and I also made coleslaw, including whizzing up the mayonnaise from scratch, so it's not all bad.Avoiding plastic, palm oil, UPF and Nestlé3
