We are having roast lamb for dinner from a half leg I bought a few months ago, cooked, the DS2 ‘wasn’t hungry’ (hungover), so we had our share and froze the rest - I’d forgotten how much there was left, so have also made a lamb tagine for later in the week, 6 meals from a fivers worth of lamb and some ratty veg

The rest of the veg has made parsnip soup for work lunches, so I am ready, but not raring to go tomorrow.

Boneless pork loin chops casseroled in cider with sliced onions, garlic and mushrooms with various herbs. Served with creamy mashed swede/potato mix and some green beans.

I also have some diced chicken in the slow cooker with onions, garlic, mushroom and the dregs of some leftover red wine which will be tomorrow night’s supper.
  • HM spaghetti Bolognese for us tonight. This will do dinner tomorrow too.

Back to work packed lunch tomorrow - baked potato and cheese.
