Went out yesterday for afternoon tea, we had a voucher. It was lovely, but so much food. We had some cheese, pineapple and grapes on cocktail sticks later on in the evening, watching TV.

Today we are using bits up from the fridge, so a sort of tapas.
  • Indian ready meal tonight but have a pkt of Piri Piri mix out to put with chciken tomorrow.

Homemade chicken, sweetcorn and mushroom pie for us tonight. Hubby was fortunate enough to win a food hamper from work recently which was stuffed full of chicken breasts among other things so it's going to cost us very little.

I'l have mine with veg, whilst hubby will have chips and gravy. I'm salivating at the thought already!

We're having burger and chips tonight. Not our usual type of food but we do like them as a treat

The burgers were home made with chicken mince and the buns are cheese topped rolls, I'll serve them with a hand full of fries and sirracha sauce

Slow cooked some pork last night so will have that for a couple of days, some will be for a mini roast and the rest will be shredded/ pulled with sald and pittas and some sort of healthy ish sauce!

Lunch is egg based today and breakfast was sultana bran. Im back on track after a relaxed but not too bad weekend food wise
  • Using the Piri Piri mix but not with chicken, looked on Nando's website and saw lots of recipes so am making with minced beef. Will be enough for 5 so 4 portions for freezer.
