    It’s our wedding anniversary today - 33 fantastic years. Mister C J has requested his favourite, fillet steak and chips for dinner tonight.

    We're having butcher's burger & onions - mine will be a wholemeal roll, DH will have his in a folded flatbread which we picked up YS a couple of weeks ago and put in freezer. Will also have HM chips & salad.

    Seventh Anniversary 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
    Last night was mayflower chicken curry and veg, had it half n half. Simple yet delicious! Todays lunch is LO curry with the rest of the rice, small portion so will fill up on fruit, tonight im just not sure!
  • Fish, poached or baked with pots and courgettes plus ????????
  • Pork schnitzels with veg. (bash meat flat, cut up small, mix with egg, salt, garlic, parsley, coat with breadcrumbs, fry. One of the meals my whole family loves.)

  • My aunt very kindly gave me some homemade quiche and a plum crumble as well as some veg from her allotment - I'll make some smashed potatoes to go with that
    Tempted to get an allotment now but I know it's much more work than I'm willing to put in!
