I have been cooking more this week after work, as Hubby has changed his shift at work for a few weeks so he is home in the evenings
This evening - Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas - nothing special, lazy freezer dinner
Other dinners I have cooked this week are:- Omelettes, Risotto, then we had a soup and toast night.
I am trying to work out what I can cook each evening next week as he is home all week in the eves - without shopping again. To save the pennies I don't want to shop again until next week
So mealsl next week are likely to be
1- Spagetti Bol
2 - Chicken Curry
3 - Omelettes (again)
4 - Pulled Pork (any ideas what to have with this?)
5 - Beans/Cheese on Toast night
6- Chicken meal in the freezer upstairs (canot remember what it is called without going to look lol)
7 - Waffles, fried egg, beans
I have put all that there so I can refer to it next week when I lose the plot and forget
ooo see there that is 7 meals without me even breaking a sweat to go and look. I know in our cupboards, it appears we have very little, but i reckon we could go slightly longer than a week in fact
The only thing I think I will need to buy over the weekend is a loaf of bread, for work, as I tend to eat toast at lunchtime, with peanut butter or whatever I have gotThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
Chicken breast in ras-en-haut (?) courgettes, beans, onion and rice, all out and prepped. Tomorrow chicken chunks with pasta.0

Ska lover if you've got buns you can do pulled pork in a bun with pickles if you have any, bit of salad and / or chips. Or some baked beans.
When I was in the South, we'd have pulled pork in buns for lunch, with buttery new potatoes, slaw and pickles. That was before it became popular in the uk. Oh, and corn on the cob too sometimes.
Or you could have it with rice or mash?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We have just sorted out our freezers, I cant believe how much is in there, so we are on a mission to use things up.
Tonight husband is having seabass, I'm having some quorn buttermilk nuggets, daughter is having steak strips. With jacket potatoes and salad.0 -
Tonight I’m making roasted red peppers stuffed with minced beef, onion, garlic, mushroom, rice, herbs, spices and a little grated cheese. Served with a little mashed potato to mop up the juices with.
For puds this week I have made a Baileys and banana trifle, and a cherry clafoutis.0 -
Friday I was up in the Big Smoke for my b'day with OH and Bro / GF. Saw an amazing show at the Southbank Underbelly festival and then ended up in Honest Burgers at 11pm....oh my, amazing burgers, deff going back there.
Yesterday was pasta with some HM pasta sauce from the vat I cooked up. Used up the last of the Quorn sausages inherited from OH going GF so that's them done. I keep wondering as I use things up like that, how many things are items I've bought for years with him being veggie, and now will prob never buy again now he's also GF.
Not sure what today's dinner is, the fridge is a bit bare but I don't really want to shop as we do have plenty in the feeezer / cupboards so will investigate those. There's a bowl of plums for fresh fruit to stave off any scurvy.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
