wrinkly peppers got made into a meat free chilli last night too - was a bit of a challenge as OH is now GF so I couldn't use a lot of the things I normally do for flavouring such as Marmite and Worcestershire sauce.

Did find the BBQ sauce we had in was GF so used some of that, along with a GF stock cube and some dark choc (thanks IM for that tip) and I 'think' it will be ok..... we shall see.

Not sure if that will be for tonight or tomorrow though yet.

Chicken burritos tonight, using half of the meat stripped from Sunday's roast chicken.

The remainder of the chicken meat will be used tomorrow to make Jamie Oliver's recipe for chicken meatballs "polpette di pollo".

  • 2 of my faggots, other 2 moved into smaller freezer (replacement coming this afternoon) 3rd of the jkt potatoes will be chipped up into wedges and will have with peas. Have taken rice out to defrost so will have as stir fry rice something, hm soup for lunch from freezer. bHad chicken thigh yesterday, it was OK but I do not like bones in my chciken so in future will cook in SC so I can strip meat off, I keep meaning to but forget and then am disappointed when I start eating it so will cook the remaining ones today and then strip this afternoon, will take up less room in freezer too.
