Leftover chicken from Sunday's roast will magically be transformed into a chicken, leek and sweetcorn puff pastry pie which will feed us tonight and probably tomorrow as well.0

I was craving peach crumble and custard but, as usual, I couldnt be bothered to make it.
So....i opened a value tin of peaches. And a value tin of custard. And a packet of crumble mix.
Peaches and custard went in the microwave. Crumble mix got sprinkled in a non stick frying pan till it got toasted.0 -

DD and her BF over for dinner tonight, Roast Pork, spring greens, carrots, roasties and Yorkies
HM Chocolate fondants for pud.
Pork is the second half of a joint bought YS at Christmas so costs mostly time as the rest was in fridge/cupboardsNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Cooked a very large beef and charitzo casserole with loads of different veg added plus a tin of borlottie beans and a couple of handfuls of dried pulses,lots of seasonings.Had a relax in the chair for two and a half hours while it slowly cooked then made dumplings to go on top.
A large plateful each for me and OH with half left to serve with a garlic loaf tomorrow.0 -
