KERRI- I am about as exotic as mashed potatoes :rotfl::rotfl:

We caved and went for a Chinese tonight- it was yummy :D

:rotfl::rotfl: you cook lovely meals IM I still miss your blog.

Last night we went out to a lovely local Italian that is sadly closing soon due to redevelopment in the town...which is much needed but a shame it looks like we will lose the restaurant. There was a party of girls in there last night celebrating a 15th birthday...took me back to the days we first started going there. Had a lovely meal but a few too many beers after and rolled in at 2am

Not sure what tonight may be ....poss vegan burgers

  • Homemade steak pie, mash and mushy peas. I've felt really cold all day and I'm craving good old fashioned comfort food.

Bunged a chicken in SC yesterday, stripped it and popped the bones back in with water to make stock.

The chicken will form a roast today, with LO’s for later in the week, same for the stock.

Had leeks to use, so made leek and Stilton quiche and Stilton and broccoli soup (Stilton Christmas LO’s) soup for work lunches
