Last night we had a chicken stir fry with loads of veg and not much chicken :rotfl: used up a tiny cooked free range chicken breast that had been in the freezer a while.

Lunch today will be hm tortilla pizzas, pepperoni for the others and veggie for me, I don't like any sort of meat on pizza..

Tonight we'll be having hm southern fried chicken burgers, must get them marinating in the buttermilk soon. We'll have these with salad and sweet potato fries.

Where do you get all your recipe's from?
Tortilla pizza, southern fried chicken burgers to name just a couple.
I'm stuck in a food rut and want to try new things as I'm getting bored of cooking and eating the same things.

Isn't it lovely getting back to normal everyday food after Christmas?

Cracked out the soup maker and utilising slight wrinkly veggies from the drawer.
Its carrot heavy (8), parsnips (2), onions (2 small), a random loose potato, celery (2 sticks), garlic clove, chilli powder and 2 spoons of ginger paste so far.... It may be adjusted seasoning wise shortly.

Will have that with some bread. DS is having meatballs. DH is being fed at work. Might treat myself to a micro sponge pudding and some custard for afters.

A lot of my inspiration comes from the lovely folk on here. Otherwise I tend to google what I have as a core ingredient to use up and take it from there.

Tonight was the puff pastry parcels (BBQ beef for me, leek and cheese for OH) with the LO roasties and sprouts from Xmas (they were frozen ...just to clarify)

Tomorrow will either be Thai red curry or yellow vegetable curry..the latter being pre made by Cook! And in the freezer.

Got a bag of peppers to use up too so might make some gumbo at the weekend and sweet n sour..which could lead to things being a little rice heavy but hey ho, I have some packs of quinoa and mixed rices in the cupboard so can use those.
