    Made beef stock in the slow cooker last night from weekend Roast LO’s, making Beef and Barely soup with fresh bread for DH - smells lush, and enough for my work soups too - bonus :)
    Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    Yellow vegetable curry courtesy of Cook! and brown basmati rice with quinoa.

    Also found a rather furry naan bread in the cupboard....:eek: should've frozen it when I used the other one but didn't think.

    Not sure what tomorrow might bring, will have a ferret through the freezer later or tomorrow afternoon, possibly something with chips or potatoes.

    Had fish & chips eaten out of paper and a huge squirt of Heinz tomato ketchup.

    Have just stuck some pork ribs in the fridge to marinate overnight.... think coriander, dill, parsley, fresh ginger, soy sauce, chilly, honey and pomegranate molasses! Can’t wait

    So, no 2019 thread?

    Shepherds pie tonight that I had made before Christmas put in the freezer, I really wanted a Chinese but that goes against two of my challenges, grocery and Loose weight :o plus its mys sons birthday on Monday and i budgeted for takeaway of his choice on Monday. Now if i can stay away from the chocs left over from Christmas :wink:

    Carrying on with the use up theme, we’re off skiing this week, so wants a clean fridge

    Chorizo and chicken and peppers cooked in sherry with fried gnocchi and salad

  • Lentil Soup and rye bread for lunch and supper will be something with quorn pieces, possibly a sweet and sour or a quorn and leek .
  • Chick portion, potaoes, stuffing balls, soya beans. All from freezers & cupboards. Still not been shopping since before Christmas weekend, have loads to choose from in freezers.
