  • Fried eggs. Homemade chips. And far too much vinegar from the pickled onion jar.
  • A salad to clear out the last few bits in the fridge before my grocery delivery later this evening. So I massaged some kale with lemon juice and garlic powder (first time I've bothered to do it properly and it makes all the difference!), added some beetroot, cucumber, very finely sliced onion and then chucked in half a can of black beans. It tasted amazing, and I'm thinking kale salads are definitely going to become a staple in the meal plan.

    Slow cooker chicken casserole, mashed potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots and broccoli.
    Fruit for dessert or cheese and biscuits if needed.

    Seventh Anniversary 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
    Tonight, will be the chicken pie meant for lunchtime leftovers, but trip to dentist and numb mouth turned that into a cup a soup. The rest of the week it will be something based around sausages, then mince. Veg wise I have baby corn, peas, carrots, broccoli and cauli to work with
  • Home made lentil and veg soup with hot buttered toast.
