I have a macaroni cheese, husband has an Indian kebab with aloo saag.  Ready meals, but we have been busy doing some DIY.

I had a portion of Dr Rupy's easy dal with a hard boiled egg, crispy onions and tomato salad followed by stewed rhubarb from my allotment with yoghurt.

I made these fritters this evening with spring onions and mint from my allotment. They were very quick to make and tasted delicious. I'm just about to have some stewed rhubarb and yoghurt to chase them down.

Those carrot and sweetcorn fritters sound lovely @goldfinches, and I have all the ingredients so will make those later this week.

I’ve been busily using up veg collected this week from the community fridge(s), and have made a pan of cold gazpacho soup which was delicious served over ice cubes for lunch today, and a cauliflower/spinach/potato/coconut curry for dinner tonight.

hybrid pizza.  in that I've bought 2 small pizzas and we'll add extra stuff.  So one is aubergine and pesto and the other is ham and olive.  There's some extra ham in the fridge and some mozzarella - cuz I like'em cheesy!!

I've had an exhausting but very interesting day out visiting Bicester charity shops so, once I'd staggered home, I fried off the rest of yesterday's fritter mixture and wolfed it down. I'm about to have a fossick in the fridge for some salad and cheese to chase them down.

Another very hot and humid day here after thunderstorms overnight. I boiled some new potatoes that needed using up, boiled an egg and some green beans and then ate those with shredded lettuce, celery, capers and hummus.
