Welcome back! And thanks for the info on the cheese sauce! I like cauli cheese but the expense of doing a proper sauce makes it a bit much. I'll look out for this!!JIL said:I made a cauliflower cheese with a Sainsbury's box mix. Didnt admit to it being a box and husband said it was really nice. Better than usual apparently. Welcome back and thanks for the info. I had a look at the ingredients on the website and they seem almost the same as a homemade one so I might keep an eye out for this too. It would be a useful thing to have in the cupboard, could it be made with frozen cauliflower do you think?JIL said:I have had a bit of an absence from this board. Holiday and covid.

I had the last portion of bean stew with bulgur and stir fried cabbage followed by decaf coffee and cheese.1 -
Hi @JIL 👋

thinking if i ever need a new career I'll be renting myself out as a dental visit companion. Love going to the dentist generally (ok, my dad was a dentist and his office was a really fun place to play when one is 6) and I'd be happy to hold hands and basically try to make the whole process better all round.Islandmaid said:Hi @JIL 👋

@goldfinches I'm sure it could be made with frozen cauliflower. I didnt taste it myself although there is some left in the fridge.
I think its 95p for a box, I got 2 boxes at 50p each from a company shop.
Tonight I'm going to do wedges, greek salad and breaded chicken.2 -
@JIL - thanks for letting me know, I'll be looking out for the box and blanching and freezing the next YS cauliflower that comes my way.
I made a roast pepper salad from one of my Ottolenghi cookbooks and had cous cous and fried tofu with it."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

I cooked today, made a roast dinner with pork and stuffing and a tuna pasta bake.

makes me wonder if that's why the company shop had them. The box had breadcrumbs in them.Frugalista said:
