A few weeks ago I got a bargain sirloin beef joint and froze it.
Cooked it in the outside airfryer and it looked so good I nearly started eating meat again.
We had some family for lunch and plated up two for the inlaws.
Served with runner beans, cauliflower cheese, dauphinose potatoes, roast potatoes, savoy, carrot and swedè mash and gravy and the obligatory Yorkshire pudding.
Loads of beef left over, but definitely recommend cooking joints of meat in the actifry.

Taking Frank out for a walk up the downs today, he loves bouncing along in the long grass - marinating some chicken in Indian spices and yoghurt for later (possibly BBQ) serve with coleslaw and corn on cob for him.

Last night was the nice butcher's pork chops. Well, nice butcher but also nice pork chops - on the bone, kidney attached, crackling cut off and cooked separately to get nice and crispy - all on the bbq (well not the butcher obviously). Roasties, yorkshires, corn, gravy for him. Meringues with raspberries, blueberries, peaches and cream for afters.
Tonight I think we'll be doing a fridge clear out. There's lots of mexican chicken left from Saturday, bread, cheese, soup.

I made this curried cauliflower cheese filo pie yesterday as a bank holiday treat and although I had a bit of a panic when I removed the baking tin the end result was delicious. I ate it with a green salad and had rhubarb and blackberry compote for pudding. As you can see, it's very difficult to portion neatly!
Dinner tonight was the same thing again."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
