I had the last of my pasta with tenderstem, courgette, padron peppers, red pepper, onion, swiss chard and chickpeas followed by a peach.

Got the making of a full English in the fridge, so ‘all day breakfast’ type of thing tonight

also got my MSE head on and using the bone from the half leg of lamb (fat end IYKWIM) which includes a small portion of the cooked meat and making a broth/soup thing. Found about a handful of soup mix dried beans/lentils at the back of the cupboard, so they’ve gone in the slow cooker with carrot, onion, celery and a clove of garlic 👍

got a medium size whole chicken YS the other day, so will defrost and put in SC tomorrow for a Sunday ‘roast’ and then use the bones for stock for a pho this week coming, last weeks was SO good 😊 and chicken scraps will be for a stirfry this week too

I've got a couple of courgettes that need to be dealt with so am going to prep most of them for the freezer but save a chunk from each to add to some soup I'll be making.  There's one green and one yellow so it's mostly for pretty.  Rest of the soup will be stock, onions, mushrooms, some chopped tinned tomatoes and lentils.  To be served with a nice artisan baguette (free from Lidl!!!) and brie.  Strawberries for afters.

I made a salad to use up the ends of various jars in the fridge as well as a lot of leaves, some couscous and a few bits of cheddar, I'll have a coffee and the last peach in a while.

Got some sausages that need using, so ‘hot dogs’ for him, with salad for me - made some caramelised onions to go with.

Frank is zonked out, just back from a long walk, he had scrambled egg and sausage for dinner 🤣

I soaked some chickpeas overnight and made hummus this afternoon so had that with wholemeal pita bread, salad and a bit of cheddar cheese. Will have a coffee and a nectarine in a while.

Woke up this morning to the house smelling Devine, left the slow cooker on overnight to make the chicken stock, just separating it now.

It’s made me hungry, I rarely eat first thing, but might cook up some bacon for a sandwich for him, cheese and bacon omelette for me. Might even watch the football, not a fan, but they’ve done so well it’d be a shame to miss it.

Dinner will be the lamb broth I made, with some HM bread for him.

have a lovely Sunday all x
