Was in the mood for cooking tonight and the oven went on. Made chicken and chorizo bake, jacket potatoes, cheese scones, sausage rolls, roasted veg and a pearl barley and vegetable casserole. So dinner was a selection of bits from that.
We have hired a paddock for an hour tomorrow evening with friends and their dogs,so we are picking fish and chips up for afterwards. Something different.6 -

Had very sad news not long after posting yesterday, a very good friend of mine had passed away after collapsing at work earlier in the day, so dinner didn’t happen. That’s 3 work colleagues around my age passed away in as many months. Sorry to bring things down, but phfffffff 🥹
