Roast pork loin tonight, with roast potatoes, stuffing and veg; broccoli, mange tout and carrots. Rest of the pork will be used in a stir fry later in the week and if there's enough, pork and pickle sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. Strawberries and greek yogurt with honey for pudding.3

Sunday dinner will be chicken and pigs in blankets. Will plate up two for the inlaws for tomorrow.
Will do carrots, green beans, cauliflower and cabbage as the veg, with roast potatoes.2 -
Pork belly with roasters and a side of beet greens rescued from the food bank where I work as no one else wanted them and they would have been chucked. Really looking forward to the greens as it's so hard to find these - most shops just chuck them too. I did find someone in Texcos a few year back removing them while putting the beets out on display and asked if I could have them and was given a big bag for free to save the room in the garbage. So if you do see some someplace I do recommend trying them - cook the same as you would spinach or chard with a taste that is like spinach but with a slightly sweet beet taste added.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. A yellow-stickered lemon sole, 94p, between the two of us, cooked between 2 glass plates in the microwave with some of the 3 oz of butter the nice lady at Waitrose gave us as she cleared the fish counter.
Buttery parsley sauce, (milk, butter, plain flour, home-grown parsley from the freezer,) made in the microwave.
Simmered new potatoes, steamed carrot, parsnip, broccoli, courgette, cauliflower, and red pepper. (Extra cooked veg saved for tomorrow for a Spanish omelette.)
A small bowl of fruit salad each from one small pear, a nectarine, and a yellow-stickered kiwi fruit with a little cream.
Tasty small fish but a bit bony.
