Have lots of mushrooms to use up so had decided on a chickpea and mushroom curry - until I looked in the cupboard to find I am out of chickpeas 🤦♀️ As it was too late to soak any by then, I have fished a couple of chicken breasts out of the freezer and will
make chicken and mushroom curry instead. Served with rice and naan. I might make a Dahl as well as have a full jar of red lentils…..Books read 2023 - 49/754 -

I went to make the soup and looked at the limp slimy mess in the freezer bag and the bin was the winner. just didn't look at all appetizing so thought it best to draw a line under that adventure.
Tonight’s dinner will either be fakeaway pizza with patatas bravas & chicken goujons or the leftover frozen Indian takeaway from last week.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A.
