duck breasts with new potatoes. I'm hoping there's some peas as well but would be happy with either the frozen cabbages chunks available - one green, one red with apple etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Sorry for the lateness!!
i made my own meatballs and hidden veg pasta sauce and pasta. There’s enough left for my daughters lunch tomorrow:money::rotfl::T6 -
We are just back from holiday so DH and kids had giant frankfurters in a roll with macaroni cheese bites and salad. Accidentally dropped a frankfurter on the kitchen floor and the cat ran off with it at lightning speed, never to be seen again!I had instant noodles - had been craving them all day - with plenty of frozen veg and three gyoza I found lurking in the bottom of the freezer.Ordered a wonky veg box to be delivered tomorrow so will see what I get before going to the supermarket for a stock up.Books read 2023 - 49/756

Sorry for the lateness too, I've had to skip eleven whole pages so if I've missed any news please forgive me.
I made this recipe Chilli paneer skewers recipe | Sainsbury`s Magazine (sainsburysmagazine.co.uk) for dinner which was a very quick cook under a hot grill so quite MSE I think. I used roasted red peppers from a jar which made the overall flavour nicely tangy and pushed the cheese and pepper off the skewer into a wholemeal pitta with lettuce and cucumber. My only niggle is that the recipe uses 500g of paneer and I could only find a 450g packet or a 200g one on the shelves and I didn't feel like making my own cheese from scratch so I just bought the 450g packet and didn't adjust the other amounts.4 -
