Husband cooked, I had a jacket potato with cheese (I could taste it, even though I have the dreaded covid)
He had a curry and rice from freezer and daughter had the last of the cottage pie from yesterday.

Sorry to hear you have covid, JIL - hope you are soon better!

Tonight I am making roasted peppers stuffed with chopped shallots, spinach, minced beef, rice and cheese. Apart from the mince and cheese, all the ingredients (right down to the herbs and spices) were free from the community fridge. They also had packs of perfect-condition strawberries, so we'll be having those with cream for pud.

@C_J,  thanks, husband doing a good job of looking after me, from a distance.
He is making actifry all day breakfast later. I haven't lost my sense of taste yet, so I will probably have some cheese and egg on toast. When I'm poorly I always crave mild cheese.

Not everyone does lose their sense of taste - I didn't and most people I know haven't either so fingers crossed.

Last night was HM lasagne in the air fryer - still very new to me and I'm definitely learning. Struggling with the fact it sounds like a microwave but is obv totally different to one - sure I'll get there though
