Pork tenderloin with mushrooms cooked in cream last night was lovely.  Cream was (as suggested) fine and in fact the OH used some this morning in his eier im glas (soft boiled eggs peeled and served in a glass with chives a la Sigmund Freud).

We've otherwise had meats and cheese for breakfast which means we wont be having that for dinner as Sunday suppers are normally  sandwich meals.  Got to go out in a bit to deliver a dorset apple cake to the woman that gave me a huge bag of bramleys* so we'll likely pop into Aldi or Tesco to see what's available for an easy meal.  Have cleared the kitchen of BBF veg chopping a courgette, numerous peppers and some shallots and bagged them for the freezer for future roasting.

*re bramleys - so far 3 apple cakes and 2 large pots of apple sauce.  Only another 30 apples to use up.....had to bin about 20 more that were already beyond use after a few days in the garage.   I want to make an apple almond pudding and will try to prep the rest to freeze for further sauce or cakes.

I did a double amount of Victoria sandwich mix last night and made 2 tray bakes. I took 32 little cakes to Church today and came home with empty containers.
Dinner will be Frikadellen and a fried off cooked jacket potato + vine tomatoes + eggs,

@sarahj1986 How about a ratatouille or a mushroom, cheese or plain omelette? Could serve with couscous if liked. I don't cook couscous on the hob,  just pour boiling water over in a pyrex bowl and wait a few minutes till it swells and softens before seasoning and fluffing up with a fork to serve. Nice with fresh lemon juice added too.

Tonight we had another quick meal as it was getting late and we were hungry. I grilled a veg sausage for me plus Quorn southern fried bites for DH, boiled green pepper halves and stuffed them with a herby courgette, tomato and kidney bean mix, and made some instant mash to go with. HM fruit scones after.

I had a full house today so made some jacket potatoes, various salads, ham, chicken, prawns and cheeses.
A big tray of chopped fruit and shortbread and clotted cream for after.
I enjoyed it. A lovely day and so nice to see family.

I am doing chicken curry/rice/naan bread for dinner. I have 6 eggs out ready for a Victoria sandwich mix to do in my Kenwood for tomorrow's lunch at Salvation Army.
