I think your cheese thing looks great.
We are away so  I ordered a takeaway delivery Indian to eat looking out at the sea.
It made a nice change but it's an expensive way to eat.

I had a go at making this tonight but think i need more practice. Do you use UK or US cup sizes? I used UK cups and it seems enormous

Cups is cups.  Both UK & US should be 8 fluid oz or approx 225 ml. It's never made any difference on any of the recipes I've done from either side of the Atlantic.

It's only when you get to pints  and larger that there's a difference even though technically in the UK one might have been told that there are 2 cups to a pint.  UK pint is 20 oz and US 16.

I have a measuring thingy and the cups measurement is different for UK and US on it. As it's just volume ratio if you're only using cups it wouldn't make a diff as such, but it would affect the egg to other ingredients ratio. And obv the cooking time.

Had a piece this morning for brekkie, it was ok, but I'm sharing it with the birds still 😁

  • We're having a Chinese fakeaway tonight. Yellowsticker battered chicken balls, yellowsticker chunky chips, pork ribs in sticky sauce, and crispy duck with pancakes. I've very hungry and haven't even finished cooking it yet!

We were supposed to be having a takeaway but I didn't fancy it, so we had a freezer dive. I had Quorn nuggets, OH had veggie meatballs (YS), both with chips and corn on the cob.
