Walnut and red pepper pesto pasta.

Omitted the mascarpone but sprinkled some feta over. First time I've tried the recipe - it was OK but a bit bland, I wouldn't make it again.

    Followed by Belgian buns (YS).

@AnnaNimmity I always use a scant teaspoon of English mustard powder in the sauce, it brings out the cheesiness 👍

tonight is Jerk chicken with salad and jacket potato for those that want 😊

@AnnaNimmity I also add a little yellow mustard powder to the cheese sauce, and sometimes if I have surplus eggs I will add a beaten egg yolk to it too (mixed in quickly, off the heat, to ensure it doesn't accidentally scramble). It really enriches it.

I also sometimes add a handful or two of cooked pasta shapes to the broccoli and cauliflower mix, it stretches the dish to another portion or two and makes it more filling.  Leftover crusts of wholemeal bread blitzed into crumbs also make a nice topping to sprinkle over it before baking.
