    The crisps look great @goldfinches

We had Monday salad, I had a few quorn nuggets and a boiled egg, with some bean salad and a mixed salad.
Others had leftover chicken from yesterday with a piece of pork pie for husband with their salad.

We had rolls with Chilli Bratwurst and salad for dinner. LO salad will go in fridge. I needed to use up the buttercream in fridge so I put it in the Victoria and Lemon sandwich.

Talking of fridge gravel, making a fridge clearing chilli/lasagne thing using tortillas instead of pasta for the family. Just spicy mince for me.

Not sure what's happening as I'm out this aft and OH is off out currently as well and it hasn't been discussed.  I do have 2 pork chops that could be slung on the bbq as well as new potatoes, courgette, yellow pepper, shallots and tomatoes that could happily be roasted.

I've got me a cravin' for Jersey Royals, so I stopped at W8rose on the way home from work and splashed out on a small bag of them which we'll have tonight with one large pan-fried chicken breast between us and some green beans.

None of this was on tonight's menu plan :(  Oh well.

I jettisoned my meal plan mainly because I've been thinking about it for so long that I was bored by the idea of making it, this has been happening rather a lot recently. Anyway I was browsing Yotam's website earlier and decided to have this instead Miso and peanut butter chickpea salad (ottolenghi.co.uk) which was delicious and made loads too so leftovers are in the fridge.

I'm going to polish off an elderly tangerine from the bottom of the fridge and have a coffee to wash it all down, night all, goldfinches.

such a miserable day here - plan changed from Chicken salad to Mince and tatties, followed by Rhubarb crumble and custard - feels like early autumn with the heavy rain showers and cool wind :-(
