We're having chicken and cider crumble this evening. I've only made it once before and that was months ago, but I remember it came out quite nicely so hopefully the same will happen again!"You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

I made the tamarind greens and mung bean recipe on this page by Yotam Ottolenghi this evening From dal to butter beans: Yotam Ottolenghi's recipes for legumes | Food | The Guardian as I had some chard left over from my cookery evening class that needed using up.

Just Googled it and I found the recipe here - http://www.eatwelltraveloften.net/2020/01/16/chicken-cider-and-cheddar-crumble-apple-recipes-from-the-orchard/
I don't bother with the sliced apple in it, or the nuts in the crumble. It says it serves 6 but I'd say 4 might be a better estimate (and I tend to use a bit more chicken), although it's just me and Mr VH so he's had a very generous portion.
I also forgot to halve the crumble topping since it's just the two of us. It's very nice but quite rich. Next time I might freeze half the chicken and sauce and do a much smaller crumble topping."You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.
