I shall skip dinner tonight, as we had an all-day meeting at work today which included lunch. They ordered in a huuuuge Mexican buffet which was amazing, and I am now stuffed.
There's a single portion of casserole in the freezer which I can defrost for Mister CJ if he fancies it later, but he's currently saying not to bother as he'll just make himself a sandwich. NIGHT OFF, YAY!!4 -
I'm having the last few bits of butternut squash with this leeks and lentils dish that I made yesterday.
The sauce was something else and has gone into my to be repeated file.8 -
goldfinches, that looks so good. I had a wee look at the recipe and have most of the ingredients if I can get away with using some dried herbs.
I had some spinach and tomatoes and flatbread to use up so made a spinach & lentil dahl which we had with the flat bread. It was an adaption of a recipe that I found on this board years ago. Tomorrow I am going to make Cullen skink for lunch and a root veggie mash with veggie haggis for dinner.6 -
@Prudent - I got away with using sour cream and half a tablespoonful each of dried dill tops, dried parsley and dried tarragon and it was delish, so I'm sure you could do the same. Let me know what you think of the sauce, my favourite flavour is lemon so this recipe suited me down to the ground, I'd be very interested to hear someone else's verdict."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

@goldfinches that looks delicious!
We had vegetarian sloppy joes in YS buns with curly fries and sweetcorn. Followed by YS lemon iced buns.4 -
Non-meat donar kebab style 'meat' in a flatbread with more tzatziki, with courgette and a couple of LO baby spuds sliced and fried to make them go further.
Just realised everything was from Oilio at one stage or another, except the non meat donar which was YS in the Iceland section of The Range.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello all
I was going to do risotto for dinner but my husband is having leftover chilli and rice for lunch. He won’t want rice and rice again. I’ll therefore do jacket spuds with cheese and beans or tuna mayo for my husband. There’s salad bits too for add on. As the oven is on same time I might do some cookies or something like that. I’ll check what I’ve got in stock

There were lots of butternut squashes, red onions and bags of spinach at the community fridge so I’m turning those into a curry with the addition of peanut butter and coconut milk.6

I ended up using all the lamb in the curry. It will be prawns instead with the noodles and veg later.3
