I wanted fish and chips from the chippy last night - I was tired and we hadn't splashed out on them for weeks - they were shut - fryer broken. Mr F had already opened a can of mushy peas so I quickly cooked some chicken and had it in wraps with them.

Yesterday we all had takeaway curry (mother’s day treat for me, the one day of the year that I absolutely refuse to cook), and tonight DH and I had the leftovers 😋 The kids had tomato soup and ham/cheese toasties.

Well, we had a weekend of indulging, Saturday stayed at a lovely hotel, good food, good wine, good company.  Sunday lunchtime met all the family at a local pub and we had a great time.
Monday was OH’s birthday, so I treated him to lunch out, more wine was taken 🥳

tonight, something simple, leek and bacon risotto for them. Chicken salad for me.

    Hello all

I’ve dipped in and out of here over the last few years

Today we are having honey and soy salmon with noodles and veg. We got a whole salmon for €21 I managed to split it up and freeze it so there’s enough for 6 meals

We ate out at the SA last night before the Alpha course. There was a lot of leftover bacon and sausages from the fair on Saturday so it was made into a sort of tomato based stew.

Baked potatoes past best before. Still, granted they don't necessarily need to be used up in a rush but I might as well cook them tonight rather than think of something else to make. Cheese, tuna, mayo.
