Last night we had spaghetti bolognese and salad for dinner, DH and I polished off the rest for lunch.
Tonight I’ve had a fit of can’t-be-arsed-ness and bought YS pizzas from M&S which we’ll have with fries and yet more salad.Books read 2023 - 49/755 -
I'm debating. Chicken or pizza? I think it will depend on if I go to Lidl (who have nice pizzas) or Tesco (where the pizzas are dreadful)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I was going to bake a small spanakopita (I made one for a work lunchtime bring-and-share picnic at the start of the week, and there was enough filo and filling to make another smaller one for the freezer) but I have been batch cooking this afternoon and now I fancy something else. I fear this is the start of a slippery slope - if I keep deviating from the menu plan, where will it all end? Chaosville, that’s where.
Anyway, we’re having a nice warming bowl of chilli and rice tonight. Or maybe the lamb and tomato curry. Or maybe the pork and mushroom in a cider cream sauce. Spanakopita and salad tomorrow, definitely.5 -
@C_J nevermind coming round for dinner, I'm moving in
Tonight is Aldi salt and vinegar (no)fish fillets, with HM chips and mushy peas (change from beans).
Cooking up a couple of old swedes from the fridge too (actual swedes, not members of ABBA) and the mash can go in the freezer.
