Bobbyhibs- no, we booked package through BA. Did look at booking direct through Aria but just for the room was £300 more than the entire package so couldn't justify it. I've already liked them and started following them on social media. Also signed up with MLife.

    agree with what stuie says.

but I believe it is harder getting a comp upgrade when booking through a 3rd party.

used to be a vegas check in guy do a blog and I am sure thats what he said

Personally I don’t think it was worth spending the money.

The hippodrome rewards are no good any more.

Can you use it for free nights ...maybe 2 free nights somehwere and then use the buffet rewards at the property you are r staying at

I'm being told on the FB page that you need to spend about $500 to get to 6 rewards. What is the point in that? Am I missing something?

That's BS, it depends what you want as a reward i.e. Bogof buffet start in the low 000s, 50% of 2 show tix also in the low 000s, hotel night at say Excal start at 15000 up to 200000 at Belagio. That is what I am seeing anyway.

How many gold coins do you have? Check the t&cs on the rewards.

I've got over a million LP's. I only had a 3 reward limit, so I spent £30 on chips and then went up to a 4 reward limit. Having spent that, I reckoned it was not really vfm. I was trying to gauge how much I would need to spend to increase my rewards. Also, I don't see buffets for 2. I see either 1 buffet or 241. When I went 3 years ago, we each had 2 buffets for 2 and that took care of all our breakfasts.

I am in a similar position with over a mill. I know not everyone sees the same rewards and I haven't purchased any chips for months but I am currently seeing a number of free buffets (Excal, Lux, mgm, mirage, aria and mandalay, some are dependant on staying at Mlife hotel. There are also many 2-4-1 bffet deals.

Room wise I am seeing most hotels the lowest deal for 1 free night is Excal at 15k coins going up to 2 nights at Bellagio for 250k.

I am hoping Bellagio is still on offer fopr my next trip in Dec and I can get 2 nights plus my wife gets another two on her account.

I have basically stopped playing on my account although I do collect the daily free chips. I concentrate on building up my wifes balance. If it helps there is also pop slots, black jack and konami slots which may increase the choice of rewards. I play these on mobile although I don't purchase I only play free chips.

    Good luck

Thats why i said I dont think its worth buying chips

the buffets for 2 disappeared a while ago, the room rewards got worse, along with the hippodrome rewards.

Wife and I both have over 1 million LP, we will never use them all, there are so many other ways to save money in Vegas, with the likes of the american casino guide and LVA membership.

From what I have read buying X chips doesnt gtee you more rewards so its unlikley anyone would know how much it costs to get 6 rewards ( I didnt even know you could get 6 rewards)

Single game tickets for the upcoming NHL season, plus 4 pre-season games just went on sale for anyone who wants to see the Golden Knights in action.
Not very MSE but the playoff game we went to in May was awesome...

If it's anything like the ones with MSC they are useless. You have to use the reward within 30 days of a newly booked cruise.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Has anyone ever bought the las vegas passes?

I bought the NYC one 10 years ago and was really useful, I'm wanting to take my mom to GC anywhere during our trip and get the 3 day pass, which gives you a free GC trip for the day?

What's peoples view on the cards in Vegas, I've been a few years ago so kinda know how to get around everywhere easy enough!
    Halifax loan - 6800 - 198 DD a month
    Barclay card 0% - £2000 - £150 DD a month
