We are direct flights there and back from Manchester....that is a non negotiable thing with us ..especially with going in November...we were once stuck in Chicago in November when it started snowing and vowed never again.I don't mind indirect flights in the summer but defo not winter.I have looked at our booking with TC and its only showing one flight there and back!!0

We don’t like to do indirect anymore.Never used to mind it, but getting older now and do not like the hassle of reconnecting.
Most of our last few trips have been direct both ways, but TC didnt do a direct trip back on our chosen date, so it was either alter the dates...which isn’t really easy for us to do...or take the indirect return.
Not what we would choose but, as said, to us indirect on the return trip is not as bad as on the outward journey.
When going I just want to get there ASAP.The holiday is over for me on the last evening, the last day is just a travel day, so never enjoyable how ever long it takes.
I was someone who used TC for the first time for direct flights both ways a couple of years ago.My initial impression was “soured” by the fact that everything was extra...drinks movies etc...so wasn’t sure we would fly with them again. But on reflection after the trip their flight time to Vegas was better than when we use Virgin, the price was cheaper and therefore you cant grumble about a few quid for tv if you need it.
Their website is poor, but we used them again last year and again they were fine...only annoying thing this time is the constant time changes, but any airline can do that.0 -
My feelings exactly Brats - but Manchester is much more convenient than any other International airport and TC is much cheaper than Virgin.
Second time we flew TC we came prepared with stuff on ipads and Ipod (remember them ?).
Not heavy drinkers so one small bottle of wine with the main meal was all we purchased on the flight.0 -
Although I didn't fly TC to Vegas last year, I flew to SFO from MAN, and rtn from LAX to MAN (they use the same A330 plane), I can honestly say, it was a good flight, comfy and the many rows of '2' seats is great..... If I didn't use my airmiles for next months road trip to Vegas, I would have gone TC again (and I read Air tanker is nothing to fuss about if u take your own entertainment)...
TC get the thumbs up from me!(although anything less than £400 to get to Vegas gets the thumbs up from me!!

Week long Vegas trip in early October. Hotels more expensive than usual due to big events0

Just booked for next May/June from Norwich. £390, I thought to good to be true, when i got to the end I had to add bags ( they are all at it now), even so it was still only £450 all in, compared to a current price on Virgin from London of £800 plus
I live 15 minutes from Norwich Airport so there is also a huge transport/hotel and parking saving compared to going from anywhere else0 -
We are flying air tanker on Monday to Boston staying there for a few days. Flying home via Las Vegas on Thomas cook which we did last year.
Love the rows of 2 also. I actually preferred this to being in a three in prem economy as thats all that was available. The 2 in economy felt more private. Well as private as can be in cattle class.
Staying in our first non MGM property this time as I haven!!!8217;t played My Vegas.0
