My 2003 Angel Delight was lovely and we are looking forward to the 1998 blancmange, when the occasion arises (apparently, they are few and far between round here
)

Wow! I'm triple-impressed! I'm a complete lightweight, obviously, as the red lentils I was referring to have an expiry date in 2018! There was definite tastiness involved, and I used 3 different pulses - lentils, chick peas, cannellini beans, nice and balanced.
**blows kisses to Alchemilla**
I certainly need to do a bit of domestic work, and then get the porch clear: food delivery on Wednesday, plus the Amazon tension rod etc delivery, plus I finally bought a printer/scanner yesterday, using some Christmas money. The printer is only needed a couple of times a year, but the scanner, as a genealogist, it's unexpectedly important.
Plus Happy Wheel and a YG survey finally turned up.
Can I finally plant the primroses? They're in a commercial holder that's 6 small flowerpots, not pluglet pots, I could do with using that for potting on.2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -

Feeling a bit victorious today
- Happy Wheel and a 50 point YG survey both accomplished. HW has now reimbursed me 20% of my initial investment of £5.
- finally up to date with washing and dishwashing.
- bit of tidying done upstairs.
- best of all, a few extra bits of weeding and I planted all six of the remaining primroses! Woo! Which means that the little border at the side return, instead of deluging me with Japanese anemones and ivy, is now a lovely mix of mint, California poppies, primroses, bluebells, a sedum and lemon balm. Still a few unwanted weeds in there, but with all the new planting, they're much more controllable.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
