"- must check the money shuffle is completed, and also send petrol money to my sister, that's a two-fer."
Yes, and yes.
Bank has momentarily frightened the life out of me, however: they just sent me a letter about not being able to pay the £3,700 etc fraud amount to Sains. Downloaded the letter, used their chatbot (which was useless for such a complex thing, obviously, but I wanted to try), started writing to Sains saying !!!!!!, why are you asking for this money again, and realised that the letter from my bank was actually dated 29th November 2021. I think I'm in the clear. So onwards and upwards.2023: the year I get to buy a car7 -

That could be
but truth to tell, there isn't a snowball's chance in you-know-where I'll actually be a matriarch
that's just not me. Except I do like people to bow down and kiss the floor I walk on
Updates ahoy:- as I was repeatedly appointed Matriarch Of All She Surveys, I did actually collect some mobile numbers, I need to send hellos to people and to share them with my sister.
Yes, done both of these.
And request scans of various things to be sent to my email address.
No, I'll do this tomorrow, after the first group of people have gone flying around the world, the ones still here for the next few days are the ones who can send me the scans.- check on the seedlings again this afternoon, they're really growing!
Shaded them a bit, I'll water in a little while.
- I'll put the washing machine on as soon as the dw stops using water.
Yep, hung it out for a bit too.
- send Order of Service to brother.
Yep, wrote a note and got it done.
- send a birthday card to one of the great-nephews. Still haven't got the hang of sending and leaving enough time to be able to use a 2nd class stamp.
Done. But not until 4pm, when the 5pm post has apparently already gone 😠
- must check the money shuffle is completed, and also send petrol money to my sister, that's a two-fer.
Yes. Very easy.
- unpack and clean.
No, not really. I did some weeding instead, that's cleaning too
- I'd dearly like to clean the living room floor, however briefly. It's revolting.
Nope. Gardening took the physical energy.
- and PS use WhatsApp for the Space Group, they're chatting, and I just didn't have the head space to join in.
Nope, still not done this, it's a headspace issue.2023: the year I get to buy a car8 -

So, last night:
- I pm'd the lovely beanie.
- I moved my seedlings back to the windowsill, for the early morning light - I'm moving them away every day, there's direct sunlight for about 6 hours, and it's just too strong.
- sorting (existing) photos of the cousins I saw this week.
Then this morning:
- pegged out some of yesterday's washing, it's pretty soggy.
- dishwasher is on.
- w/m is next.
- did the Happy Wheel. Won 5p! But it didn't credit to my account: I pressed a button about "more free spins", I wonder if that's why? Must hold to what I decided yesterday, not to press any buttons that take me down rabbit holes. Anyway, still won 39p, yesterday's total, which is 7.8% of my "investment". Cool.
The rest of today:
- its lovely weather! A walk would be nice.
- check seedlings.
- digging up weeds, while the soil's so easy.
- any cleaning I can face doing, is to be done downstairs: I suggested to my sister that the next time we do the photo sorting, she brings them over to me - that's an hour less travelling in the day for her. And I could do with the focus to get the place presentable.2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -

I'm glad, greent
Today is much quieter than today, I really exhausted myself yesterday. Made a mistake on the wm today, though, I thought I'd filled it, but hadn't - the 2 items in there came out sopping wet, I was wringing them, grrr.
Dehydrator is now clean to use tomorrow (yes, rhubarb!). Slow cooker is going: chickpeas, cannellini beans and red lentils. The lentils are oooolllllllddd! But they're acting as thickener for the sauce, I'll live, "sauce" will be nice and herby and spicy too.
I have yet another Amazon basket on the go: another tension rod, I've realised I can use it in the kitchen, I get blinded by the afternoon/evening sun for half the year, and while it sounds nice for it to be sunny, it's actually a problem. And there's no privacy, not that I often do anything in my kitchen that needs it
There's also white velcro, for a home made flyscreen, I already have the flyscreen material. The professional version cost me £250 per window when I moved here, and I'm not keen to pay the modern price. Trouble is, the tension rod doesn't contribute to a free P&P total, so I'm just going to buy some cashew nuts or whatever. Then gardening, then collapsing yet again2023: the year I get to buy a car8 -
