Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving (the appeal was carefully worded to avoid that)

Would you be kind enough to tell me where the latest PoPLA appeals are for me to look at? All I can find are linked examples to specific things... none of those appears to be like mine so need the full list to look at but don't know where it is?

There isn't a full list - search successful appeals, and follow the newbies FAQ advice on constructing a POPLA appeal

Go through your posts and use "the driver" did this/lost that etc


Also if you have inadvertently used your real name as your forum name then get MSE to change it to something totally anonymous

yes this is all new and complicated ........

but

we are here to help .....

there are / have been a few threads recently by .... ' senior' posters .... all saying much as you have .... they have taken there time .... taken a deep breath or two ...... taken advice ... then progressed

you can win this if you let us all help ......

the forums policy is to try to get newbies to help themselves .... because if we didn't then we would be swamped ....

some newbies need a little more help than others .... I am sure you will get that extra help if you stick around .....

I am also in this situation with Britannia from an underground college carpark that says you do not need to display after paying and then recieving correspondence from my car's lease company saying they had received the charge. I'm uncertain whether they've paid it already but I have not had correspondence from Britannia direct as of yet.
Finding this all somewhat overwhelming and confused at which stage I'm at as correspondence went to the lease company first.

Or simply search the forum for similar ones people just wrote, obvious 2 keywords:

POPLA Britannia then choose 'advanced search' and 'SHOW POSTS' (NOT the default 'show entire threads').

NO-ONE pays these!

Hello,

I have been doing my best to understand but Quentin made me realise that my best is simply not good enough. As I told you I am very ill right now and very overwhelmed by it all. I have searched but my head physically hurts and all the words are just swimming in front of me. What would happen if I just do nothing? I do not have the wherewithall to compose anything to PoPLA. Apparently I've been telling you all the drivers name or something on top of everything so I just feel that gracious or ungracious my back is against a wall.

I'll see how I feel tomorrow... Sometimes paying seems the easy option against the stress of all of this ... nothing to be ashamed about... I'm elderly, disabled and sick but will see how I feel tomorrow.
