Thank you both for being so helpful and patient.
We will make an appointment if possible to speak to MP... if not I'll write and enclose that link for him to read. I've also printed it out in case I can get it dropped into his surgery. Also attempting to contact the landowners asap. If that all fails we will ignore the letters.
Kind Regards
Good stuff, we admire your sensible approach. Losing at POPLA is no biggie.

Hello,
Just a query on this ongoing case if I may. We have had a couple of Debt collection letters and we have filed them as advised. This has only been for a short time however and yesterday we got one saying they are passing our file to their client with a recommendation that they take further action. They then detail that we will have not only the fine but their client's fees and solicitors costs when we lose the case. We were expecting a year or two of these letters by reading previous posts. This is unnerving so my purpose today is just to check with you that this is normal procedure for the debt collecting letters to cease so quickly and if you would still advise us to just sit tight and wait for the court hearing? I know you can't possibly know the outcome of this but your advice is appreciated.
Thank you0 -
Already covered many times. Sit tight. This is standard scare tactics when they are running out of breath and have previously failed to blow your house down0
