Is DPD UK the worst company in the world?

Just to add my 2 penneth DPD are rubbish, they failed to deliver on the arranged day we waited in all day and nothing no phone call, no email. I tried to ring the local office it's all automated no one to speak too, I had to go online to find a head office phone number then I was given a lame excuse. My advice when buying online find out what delivery service is being used before you commit to buy if possible. Avoid DPD they are not very good and there are lot's of complaints online about their service."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0

DPD are spot on in my opinion. Always there within minutes of the time they say they will be.0 -
I don't have any problems with DPD, UK mail or hermes that because I have good delivery drivers.
Just because you suffer with a crappy driver in your area does not mean the rest of us should avoid with a barge pole!!!!

Ditto. I've never had a problem with a delivery from any courier firm.0 -

Expecting a delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday, showing DPD as the courier. Lets see if they are as efficient as previous deliveries.
Usually its a text around 7am with a time slot. Then minutes within the start time they deliver..Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Hmm. I had a delivery last week via DPD/Hermes. It was successful but it was the third that the supplier had sent.
Number one arrived in Smethwick and then disappeared.
Number two went Smethwick, London (Label reprint) and then disappeared..
So an item ordered early in July arrived more than a month later. No issue with the supplier in that they re-supplied twice and communicated swiftly. Gawd knows what happened to the items in between..0 -
DPD are the best courier for us. Efficient, quick deliveries.
Hermes are terrible.
They used to be very good delivering promptly and at 7.15am. You could almost set your clock by him.
But driver has changed and now orders take ages to arrive.
Parcels regularly take 7 days or more to arrive.
Recently three parcels were sent three days running- back order from the same company. They all arrived in the same delivery 7 days later.
The courier saves up parcels until he has a few to deliver in the area.
Although we were not at home and he left the parcels in a 'safe place' no card was left to tell me and tracking said signed for by customer.
Another time a parcel was signed for tracking said left in porch. We do not have a porch.
I avoid them if possible.0 -

If you were paid little per delivery, you would do the same.0 -
Have always received excellent service from DPD and Hermes. Our Hermes courier is 1st class and has never let us down. We use Amazon Prime & eBay on a regular basis and have never had any problems.0
