Clif said:Symbio don't take the same approach because if you have an Economy 7 meter, you can only have an Economy 7 tariffThat's completely untrue !
Symbio's website looks up your address and knows whether you have an E7 meter, but if you have low E7 usage at night the cheapest tariff offered will be single rate. Mine is 22% and Symbio offers single rate on Low, Fair and Green 2020 Variable v18.0 -
Symbio only offered me an Economy 7 tariff, however, even their single rate is more expensive than my Fix'd 20 9.0 because of their high standing charge and my low usage!-1

Perhaps, but you still need to get your facts correct and edit your misleading post.1

When I checked Symbio a few months ago, they only offered me an Economy 7 tariff, but I'm happy to confirm that they've now offered me a single rate tariff, but it's more expensive than my Fix'd 20 9.0 because of their high standing charge and my low usage!-1

I miss the times when Clif was banned from posting.... Was a good period for the MSE forums.
Again... all these posts do is back up my earlier point of Make sure you know your personal usage when comparing prices.
If you have even medium usage, Outfox may not be the cheapest.
If you use a lot more at night, Outfox is probably not the cheapest.
If you don't use a lot of energy and have invested your retirement fund into a failing energy company like Clif - Outfox might be the supplier for you.1 -
And for some London postcodes (possibly elsewhere but not checked), Outfox dual fuel costs more than two separate supplies from Outfox.0

Most energy companies are failing energy companies, not just outfox the market, if you go by the accounts they file in company house. Going by their balance sheets, almost all are insolvent or close to insolvent if you leave aside the big 6. The big challenger brands report big losses in their yearly financials. This proves that the nationalisation was probably a folly or the entry criteria for companies securing licences should have been even more stringent. Alas that ship has sailed!UnclaimedEnergy said:I miss the times when Clif was banned from posting.... Was a good period for the MSE forums.

Yes OFM do qualify for Santander 2% cashback. I’m presently with them and do get the cashback each month. Every energy company I have been whilst banking with Santander has been eligible for the cashback.movingon said:Does anyone know if OFM payments qualify for the Santander 2% cashback please? I cannot find them on the Santander list as OFM or Foxglove and wondered if the payments come under another name.Thanks.

Eon took possession of Npower last year, so the big 6 are now the big 5 and as a retired stockbroker I wouldn't invest in any of them, but as a consumer Outfox the Market are helping you get no-hassle, CONSTANTLY cheap gas & electricity!0

surely as ovo is now in the big league it still remains 6 or have i missed something? SSE, Scottish Power,Ovo, BG,edf, eon0
