My mum annoyed me so so much, She wasn't happy with me and my boyfriend rang and I shouted at him (thinking it was my mum) and hung up on him :(

He must be really upset at me :(

Haven't you phoned back and explained?

I just want to spend time with my boyfriend before I go to the trade show, Is it really bad of me? Is it selfish?

I said to my mum when I'm back we can go, My dads happy with it.

I don't think she liked the fact I didn't bow down to the demand.

You've previously given in to mum, and now you're not. Expect her to ramp it up a bit to bring you back in line. How you choose to respond to that is up to you. But it's not selfish to do what you want instead of what she wants when running your own life.
If you've left a voicemail explaining to your boyfriend what happened, he'll be in touch when he's ready. Don't panic.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

  • He rang back :D He was driving back from another office, We met up and went for a coffee.

When he dropped me off, my mum come running out, asked how my boyfriend can afford the car he has and if he was a drug dealer.

I was embarrassed but He replied by laughing and saying no, saving and working hard.

Well your mums briefly met him-I see no rush for her to meet him too quick again.
It was very rude of her to speak to him
    Like that.
As someone else said , prepare for more of the same.

Your mother said WHAT to him? I hope you have told her just how rude and despicable that was! Has she no faith in your judgment? After all, she has brought you up. I would certainly be having very Strong Words with her, were she my mother - and if I had said anything so insulting to any of my children they would have chewed my ears off!

You sound like a meek little Disney Princess, before she finds her guts. Honestly!

    On a scale from 1 ="chained to a pipe in the basement" and 10 = "hardcore feminist explorer", you're about a 2/3.

    .

Your b/f sounds a saint. I'm afraid if I'd been you, I'd have said 'yes, mum, actually, we're both drug dealers and the trade fair we're going to is to set up new chains of suppliers and distributors. So what are you going to do about it?'
