I have put on between 2-3lbs (eek!) in a month - and not helped that we also eat out at the pub yesterday (cheeseburger and chips, pint and a half of bitter for me - worth it) with our Son. So nice to do normal thing. I also got a haircut on Thursday.
Back to soup for lunch, meat and veg for supper and no more chocolate!

@Suffolk_lass - not much longer to go before travel restrictions ease up across the UK
No finance news today (well, bought a £10 Just E@t voucher to take advantage of a bonus £2 cashback from Top Cashb@ck, but otherwise nowt). Works out as a 22.5% discount on the tenner, one of the few ways to get a discount takeaway after pay day.
Weight the same today, possibly as the result of the smoked sausage that Mrs E got me from the chippyBacon, eggs and black coffee for breakfast, feeling very dehydrated. Not sure about lunch, but dinner will be scallops, steak and mushrooms with a wee Greek-style salad on the side (no feta or olives).

A dreadful night last night - was awake until 06:00 this morning - woke up again at 07:20
Then got up with DD, changed the cat's litter tray, went grocery shopping and spent 5 hours building a massive trampoline with FIL. I am absolutely cream crackered.1 -
Omigod. That sounds dreadful, Ed. Hope you can sleep properly tonight.2023: the year I get to buy a car2

Hopefully you have had a better night - do you know what caused it?
I'm hoping DH is OK this morning - he got stung several times yesterday by our bees (probably cross because it was open too long for the temperature). To add insult to injury one then followed him over to the patio, revisiting him three times in decreasing circles before stinging him on the cheek. I administered anti histamine and water. His suit and gloves were already in the wash by then but he thought he might have some residual pheromone on him so went for a shower while I made the dinner (roast chicken and simple veg). All a bit of a learning curve.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

@Suffolk_lass - poor DH - hope he's feeling OK?
I have no idea what caused the poor sleep. Last night was also bad, but not as bad. I am halving my coffee intake today as a test.2 -
I swap to decaf tea from lunch time (Morries is v acceptable) or water, lots of water as I had the same thing. That and stopping using e-devices after 9pm seems to work for me. Does not stop me waking at 3.45am though!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
