Am back on the diet - starting with an egg fast - every bit as bad as it sounds
Have put on 7lbs in a month, lost 3.8lbs since yesterday. Need to try and get down to my target weight of 14 stone this time.

1.x lbs off today, 2.4 lbs until I'm back under 15 stone. Had eggs fried in coconut oil, which tasted far better than I'd hoped for! A wee bit of salt, pepper, onion granules and parsley et voila
Have just realised that a linked savings account we nominally have for DD (DD doesn't have savings, just investments) will allow up to £5k @ 1.44% 😉3 -

2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -
I will weigh in tomorrow. Had the most horrendous day for food yesterday and DH called me out. That's it. Back on the low carb no-sugar with immediate effect. After nearly a month's free for all my underwear feels more snug but can still get into it.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

@Suffolk_lass - I blame myself - there was that period where we were constantly sharing our good behaviour stories and then I fell off the wagon
I have a splitting headache and am getting incredibly bored with eggs - back to more varied food come Saturday.
Put £5,000 into the 1.44% account, can open another one when I CBA digging out passports etc.I had an interesting product demo at work today, it was basically a system that would do me out of a job if it was just a little more intelligent (it used AI, but I'm guessing it was just a baby). More encouragement to keep socking away retirement monies. Mrs E had a lovely morning off eating fancy breakfast in the park (day off) - she came back all enthused about working less and we had one of our few actual conversations about FIRE. I didn't use any acronyms - didn't want to bore her to death!7 -
Don't blame yourself, if I had stronger willpower I would not be so overweight!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

A bit more weight lost, back down to 15 Stones (7.6lbs since Tuesday) 👍
Mrs E is getting a small bonus from work (£400) - how come the pleasant windfalls are always less than the unpleasant emergency costs? 😀4 -
