Hurrah for HM pizza, it's great isn't it!
I really like it because we can put exactly what we want on it, which leads to some, erm, interesting combinations! Lidl had mozarella cheese on offer lately (28p for a ball) so we've been eating pizza quite a lot:beer:0 -
Well Done! You'll soon be addicted to this site like most of us here! Fishcakes will freeze great, as will almost anything. There are some brilliant threads on freezing home made meals on here in the index section. One of the best things is knowing exactly what's in your food too.

Well done MSS!!
Can't see why the fishcakes wouldn't freeze. Although you could just freeze the mash and then make them fresh when you wanted them?
You're really getting into this aren't you? Your enthusiasm is great!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I am getting in to this whole OS aren't I?
OH wasn't too impressed though this morning when I (wide awake) shared with him my ideas for the rest of the frozen pizza dough at 7 in the morning (he's still in bed now, we're supposed to be cleaning his room out!)...
My enthusiam has rubbed off from you lot!!! Ideas I wouldn't even have thought of suddenly seem the "right" way to do things... its like we've been conned by modern society into using masses of cleaning products when one or two will do, or that ready made/tinned/convinient is easier when its not...
My house blitz has come to a halt though, as my parents have gone off on holiday and locked me out of the house! Dying to start on the bfs house but obviously I can't as that would offend his mum >twiddles thumbs<Returning MoneySaver, now furiously saving for a house deposit...0 -
Can someone point me towards the home made pizza recipie, as I can't find it and would like to give it a bash0

Last night I had a Virgin Vie party but at last minutes found out more people were coming and that the frozen pizza I bought would not be enough!
I quickly looked in my cupboards and found a almost out of date fajitita set (50p)
I got the tortillas and put some tomatoe puree on them and spread it round, I finely chopped an onion and sprinkled this all over, then I chopped up some mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers (all reduced in Asda on Monday at 10p each) and scattered them and then grated 1/3 block of cheese (£45p) and spinkled that over, put them all in the oven for about 5-7minutes and then cut into 4 and they went down a storm! Even OH liked them and they filled him up!
Evereyone asked how I did them and congratulated me! My neighbour asked me to make some for her next party:o so about £1.40 for 6 pizza's! :T

Excellent idea - particularly as I can use corn tortillas and make glutenfree pizzas for my stepdaughter! The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

OH loves pizza so I've taken the plunge and bought some pizza bases - I know, not as OS as HM, but they were only 40pish for 2
large ones.
I've never made them before, having previously given in to buying the ready made ones, so I am looking for some tips, as knowing me, they will turn out nasty otherwise!
I have tomato puree and tinned toms, which one should I use as the sauce?
I have plenty of toppings - mushrooms, sweetcorn, tomatoes, tuna, ham and cheese of course, but how long do they take to cook? Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0
